A classic example of the famous Wavellites from Avant, Arkansas. Wavellite is known from many world localities, but the finest and most colorful specimens in the world are found in Arkansas. This wonderful, attractive cabinet sized specimen is a showy and good overall quality example of this material. This piece features fine quality, rather lustrous, gorgeous soft green colored "balls" and radial "sprays" of Wavellite sitting on matrix. My favorite aspect of the piece is the wealth of complete / unbroken spheres on specimen (which measure up to 8 mm across). You'll see a lot of incomplete and just plain broken spheres of Wavellite from the various localities in Arkansas, so when you find a piece like this with so many undamaged "ball", it means something.
