Item Description

Some of the most aesthetic and displayable specimens of Wavellite have come from the Siglo XX mine in Bolivia as described by Mark Bandy. It came from Brian Kosnar's personal collection, and was obtained on Brian's very first visit to Bolivia in 1999. This piece a lustrous, sphere-shaped radiating aggregate measuring 1.1 cm across GEM / gemmy, colorless Quartz on matrix. The quality of the sphere is very good, especially when compared to finds from the last 15 years at Siglo XX. A nice display specimen of an uncommon mineral, with a really cool color.
