Item Description
Striking, radial starbursts of very glassy, chatoyant, wavellite cover two sides of the brecciated novaculite matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from a NEW 2010 find at Avant, Arkansas. The glassy, "rays" are actually sea-green, but look purplish-blue in the photos. The "core", yellow suns are stunning. This is a fine example of this new find and the wavellite spheroids are large for the locale, up to 2.7 cm across.
