Item Description

A very rich, completely lined pocket of fine, sparkly, gemmy to translucent crystals of Wendilsonite. The raspeberry-red crystals are about 1 mm in size, and the luster is very good. Bou Azzer is the Co-type Locality for this rare arsenate, along with the Sterling Mine of New Jersey. Wendwilsonite is the rare magnesium analogue of Roselite. A very fine specimen. The label included is even autographed by Wendel Wilson! Last purchased for $380 soon after this new species was named, in the mid 1990s.
