Item Description

A sculptural and surprising small cabinet combination from famous Panasqueira. A 3.7 cm, glassy terminated quartz crystal is dramatically sandwiched between the ends of two large aesthetically intergrown wolframite crystals. The tabular, highly lustrous, jet-black crystals have textbook form and classic stepped-growth/striated faces. One wolframite crystal has a full sharp chisel termination. Contacting is noted to the wolframites, but there is little actual damage. This very artistic and classic combination displays well without aid. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 13160.
