Item Description

While Wulfenite is typically found in thin tabular blades, some of the most iconic specimens from any world locality are the classic examples from the Los Lamentos Mountains of Mexico, with their notably thicker blocky crystal habit. This miniature sized sepcimen piece features gorgeous, fairly thick, fine quality, beautiful butterscotch-orange colored tabular crystals measuring up to 8 mm, sitting on minor matrix. The distinctive "slick" vitreous lusters on the crystals, gives them character and a beautiful reflective sheen. If you collect Wulfenites, secondary ore minerals, or specifically minerals of Mexico, these specimens are a staple. From the Doxsee Collection.
