Wulfenite

A really cute and aesthetic thumbnail plate covered with gemmy and lustrous orangey-red wulfenites, rather than the more common reddish-orange you normally see from the Red Gem Pocket. The crystals reach 1.3 cm and have classic, razor-sharp, beveled edges. Very nearly pristine, with only barely visible edgwear to a couple of crystals. Certainly a modest detraction. The striking orange color saturation, gemminess and luster is definitely above average for the famous find. We purchased much of this entire find in 2003 and found a few straggler flats of good material in our move this summer. When its gone, its REALLY gone. The Red Cloud is now unaccessible again
