A gorgeous, gemmy and highly lustrous, 1.6 cm on edge and 1.8 cm on the diagonal, reddish-orange wulfenite crystal from the "last hurrah" of the famous and now-closed Red Cloud Mine - the 2003 Red Gem Pocket. This two-sided beauty has superb beveled edges and is jauntily perched on a sliver of sturdy quartz-rich matrix. Depending on your preference, this excellent and aesthetic specimen could be displayed as a toenail or a thumbnail. This outstanding crystal is not diminished by the infinitesimal, upper left corner edgewear, that is just on one side. Fairly valued at $950 for outstanding crystal quality.
