Wulfenite

This unusual tabular crystal is both huge for the locality, and historic. It came to me in an old collection. It is translucent and colorful, if not particularly lustrous. It is, even, nearly pristine (a few dings, and some contacts on back) - which is surprising given the size. Over the years I have seen many Los Lamentos wulfenites and they come in a huge variety of styles and sizes. But, I just cannot recall seeing any crystal of any sort of habit from here, of this size. It is very surprising and quite impressive in a case. It IS from this locale, but it doesn't look it - the size throws you off at first. It comes with an old Filer's label, we think from the 1960s or early 1970s
