Wulfenite and Pyromorphite ex Harvard Museum

Striking orange wulfenite prisms to 5 mm are richly scattered on the quartz matrix on this classic, old-timer from the Manhan Mine of Massachusetts. This sculptural, LARGE CABINET specimen also hosts pastel-green, pyromorphite crusts and euhedral galena crystals are visible in the quartz. This ancient US mine opened in 1680 and was worked intermittently until 1866, when it closed. Ex Harvard Museum # 117802. This is an exceptionally large, fine and rich combination specimen from this historic locale. hard to value, as so little is around...but I have not seen a big piece like this for sale
