Item Description

Mineral specimens of any species are EXTREMELY RARE from this obscure, small group of underground mines, that produced intermittently from 1938-55. Lustrous, sulfur-yellow wulfenite blades and gemmy, sharp, reddish-orange, hexagonal, vanadinite barrels to 5 mm are richly and attractively scattered on two sides of the miniature matrix wedge. Ex Harold Urish Collection, a 40-year Tucson collector. The handwritten note on the bottom of the specimen box says that this piece was self-collected by Urish. This showy and excellent combination specimen may be UNIQUE for the locale. A MUST for the Arizona or species collector.
