Item Description

Highly lustrous, translucent, blocky, rich butterscotch-colored, wulfenite crystals to 1.0 cm are attractively clustered or as isolated crystals on this showy and excellent large piece from the famous Ahumada Mine at Los Lamentos. The yellow-green oxide coating on the sintered-looking gossan matrix is a striking, stark contrast and adds much character. The many, major crystals are pristine. The trivial periphery wear is noted. Classic and colorful wulfenite from this noted locale from the Howard Belsky Collection. It displays very well from both directions.
