Item Description

A group of aesthetic, sharp, tabular, GEM/gemmy, rich red-orange crystals of Wulfenite make this a very desirable thumbnai. One of the crystals is an amazingly water clear "window pane" habit crystal with rich red-orange color. The crystal could easily yield an eye clean, albeit small, gemstone which cannot be said of 99% of the Wulfenite crystals found at the Red Cloud. This specimen is in good shape and the color is absolutely superb. A fine specimen from one of the single most important localities in the Western United States. Considering that this locality has been completely buried and never will be mined again, these specimens are commanding a premium nowadays. There were only two significant finds in the history of this mine with regard to gem "window panes", and these pieces are rare seen in any format around the world.
