Item Description

Classic, highly lustrous, blocky, butterscotch-colored wulfenite prisms, to 1.0 cm, are richly and attractively scattered on the undulating 3-dimensional matrix. The starkly contrasting white matrix is covered with microcrystals of brown arsentian vanadinite (endlichite). All of the many crystals in the interior are pristine. Uncommon and excellent old-time combination material from the 1950's, according to respected rarities dealer Josef Vajdak (Pequa Minerals). The $250 price is years old and the piece is worth much more today.
