Wulfenite on Willemite

Item Description

Several orange-brown, transparent panes of Wulfenite are scattered on an undulating carpet of finely crystalline, translucent, green-blue Willemite. The thin, squarish Wulfenites are very lustrous and range in size from 3 to 8 mm and are distinctly tapered on their edges. Willemite crystals are between 1 and 2 mm across and their translucence and almost resinous luster add depth to the piece. The backside of this piece is just as impressive as the front as it is completely covered in glistening, green to brown-green, 2 to 4 mm Willemite crystals that have the same characteristics as the ones on the front, but are larger. Both sides display great fluorescence from the Willemite!
