Classic, rich butterscotch-colored, tabular, wulfenite crystals aesthetically encrust the elongate matrix, which includes much glassy cerussite, on this showy and exellent combination specimen from the famous Ahumada Mine. The translucent and lustrous prisms are up to 1.7 cm. Cerussite is rare from Los Lamentos, making this definitely an older and desirable piece. This specimen is hefty for its size, because of the cerussite. A couple of broken wulfies are noted, but are a modet detraction. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
