Item Description

A seldom seen association piece of bright orange Wulfenite associated with very pale blue Chrysocolla on matrix. Specimens from the Ford Mine are next to impossible to find on the market these days, along with most minerals from Mammoth. The largest Wulfenite crystal measures 1.1 cm on edge (bottom left of the piece), and is one of th largest crystals I've seen from this locality. There is also some minor black Hollandite, colorless Quartz and some dark blue Azurite(?) on the piece as well. If you collect Mammoth specimens, don't pass this one by. I photographed some of the smaller Wulfenite crystals under the microscope to show their quality.
