Item Description
A few years ago, there was a discovery of some exciting gem quality yellow Opal in Mali. Many of the stones we've seen have been somewhat milky, but this stone is a slightly higher quality, as it's a bit more gemmy and glows with color. If any of you remember the vibrant yellow Opal gems that we've offered from Idaho years ago, this stone from Mali is quite similar in terms of color and clarity. This "Oval" cut gem has a gorgeous light yellow hue, with some visible inclusions, but it's still gem quality. If you collect Opals, or you're simpy a fan of gems from unusual locales, don't miss out on this one, as it's one of only a handful we have to offer.
