Zeophyllite (very rare)

Item Description

Zeophyllite is a very rare phyllosilicate that is found in less than 20 localities around the world. This is a classic example of the specimen from Schellkopf featuring dozens if not hundreds of tighlyt intergrown radial groups of white Zeophyllite on host rock matrix. A classic specimen of this hard to find material from this still active phonolite quarry.
