Zircon occurs in a wide range of colors. This stone in person has a deep blood red color. This stone is virtually eye clean with a "Round" cut, but has no table on the crown side of the stone. This is a lovely shade for Zircon, as one sees many golds, browns and yellows, but true reds are rare. You don't see these gems on the market very often, and typically the Sri Lankan Zircons are either green or yellow, so this is a rare color from this country.
