These are some of my favorite Zircons in the world. True red Zircons are difficult to find in nature, as they typically have some kind of orange or brown overtone. This stone has a saturated red color face up, but does have a bit of a orange overtone when viewed in sunlight. This stone has a beautiful "Wide Pear" cut, and is nearly eye clean. Please note that due to the birefringence of Zironc, the photo makes the gem look somewhat "fuzzy", but it's better in person. You do not see many of these gems on the market these days, and a stone like this can help to complete any Zircon suite.
