Item Description

A rare matrix Zircon specimen from the pegmatite locality at the MacDonald Mine in Ontario featuring a euhedral, well-formed, brownish colored 8 mm crystal aesthetically set atop pink calcite matrix. These are not easy to find, especially in showy display specimens like this as the crystals are often frozen in the matrix, and not exposed and eye-catching like this one. No real damage that I can see with the naked eye.
