Item Description
This well-known Australian locality is known for huge zircon crystals, up to 25 cm! This showy and excellent matrix specimen features a 5.0 cm, sharp crystal jauntily attached to the front of the piece. The translucent, layered, pretty honey-brown crystal has intensely waxy/highly lustrous faces. Bruising is noted on both terminations and on the front of the crystal, but this remains a striking, fine and colorful matrix example of the species and locale. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection.
