Zircon on Marble (both fluorescent)

Item Description

A 1.2 x 1.2 cm modified zircon octahedron is jauntily set on marble matrix on this showy and excellent thumbnail from this well-known Pakistan zircon locale. The sharp, lustrous octo has mottled wine-red color with cherry-red translucence at the corners. The crystal is pristine, with one edge being contacted, but having no damge, per se. The gemmier areas fluoresce yellow and the marble pink under SW UV light.
