SPECIAL AUCTION: OLD CLASSIC MINERALS
from the Kay Robertson Mineral Collection
ends Tuesday June 25th, 2019

NOTE SPECIAL END DAY: TUESDAY June 25, 2019
at 6:30 PM (Central Time Zone)!

The Kay Robertson collection has thus far afforded a great deal of intellectual and mineral pleasure to us here at The Arkenstone, as well as collectors around the globe. Many specimens are of historical and mineralogical interest, so working with them has been a truly gratifying experience.We thought it would be a fun change of pace to produce a totally dedicated "Kay Auction," and let things go where they may.
Please note that a number of these specimens were purchased by Kay 50-60 years ago, at prices that ranged from several dollars to several hundreds of dollars at the time. If these were the prices a half-century ago, just imagine what the possible values are now. There might be some real bargains to be had! Text and photos by collector, Jeff Starr.

For those unfamiliar with the Kay Robertson Collection,

Kay is a prominent California collector who specialized in European classics
(see our blog at www. https://www.irocks.com/kay-robertson-a-treasure-in-the-mineral-collecting-world ;
and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).

Happy hunting!
