Item Description

Some of the prettiest and most colorful Fluorites from any Chinese locality are those from the prolific Yaogangxian Mine. These specimens are renowned by collectors for their various styles, habits, colors and overall quality. This piece is an attractive large miniature / small cabinet display specimen featuring a predominant, sharp, very well-formed, cubic crystal measuring 4.1 cm on edge, showing pleasant internal "phantoms" when backlit, and a mixture of blue, green and purple hues. A few smaller Fluorite crystals can be seen on the piece for a nice touch. The Fluorites are so gemmy, that you can see directly through them to the underlying matrix. Very good quality all over, no major damage, and just beautiful in person. From a find circa 2007 at this incredibly specimen-producing mine.
Ex Brian Kosnar collection.
