Visually dazzling, this complex cluster from the Kamoya South II Mine is composed of numerous, intergrown Carrollite crystals. They reach 2 cm and have SHOCKING metallic luster... Each crystal, octahedral in habit, has a mirror-like luster, finely-terraced faces, amazing beveled edges, and truncated corners. It is a complete cluster around a core of calcite, you can see from beneath. Constantly flashing as you move it around under light, you can't help but liken it to being the 'Transformer' of Carrollites. It is quite simply one of the finest examples in size class, and if you saw it or held it in person, you'd agree. It is so bright, it practically shines. Almost no examples have such luster, the octahedral shape is most rare as well; and it is pristine and complete all around. Valued $5000-10,000 range.
