Dr. Erika Pohl Collection Auction!
We are truly honored to present the final of two special auctions dedicated to "Little Jewels" from the collection of Dr. Erika Pohl, as released to us by her family to disperse to the world of collectors. Selected from the core of Dr. Pohl's amazing suite of African mineral miniatures, assembled over more than 70 years of collecting, we have a large variety for you here! We selected such pieces for this auction with the purpose of showing you what is coming over the next 10-20-30 years as we work through her collection since much of it is made from exactly the same kind of choices, selections of perfect and beautiful small specimens; even as people today now think of her for larger pieces and Tsumeb material. We exhibited this auction set live at the Munich show in 2023, for exhibit only, and rejected many in-person offers for purchase on individual specimens, to save them for you, our online customers. This is what the family wanted, to spread them to as many people as possible, and we like to think she would have liked that as well. Enjoy!
