Item Description

From a find in the late Fall of 2005 in Pakistan. A great thumbnail sized specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. These crystals are well known for their multicolor crystals and beautiful aesthetics. This crystal features a few colors ranging from a RARE yellow hue on the pyramidal termination which graded into a very thin soft green band, and then transitions into a very dark green hue througout most of the crystal is a slight brownish-green band on the other end, which finishes with a lovely blue-green hue on the basal termination. The prism faces are lustrous for this material, and showy, but the most important aspect in my mind is that the piece is completely doubly-terminated "floater". This is a great display piece and a wonderful pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These piece are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market.
