FINE MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION (set 2 of 2) - end Aug 17th, 2017
Ends Thursday, August 17th, 2017
at 6:45 PM (Central Time Zone)
This week's auction is filled with new material we picked up over the last few months along with rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals, classics and display specimens. You'll even find a few fossils, carving and gemstones mixed in every now and then. Look for pieces mixed in from various collections we've obtained including Willard Wulff, Kay Robertson, Francesco Bedogné, and Paul Zerfass, along with dealers' inventories. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's include:
1. Historic and significant SYNTHETIC QUARTZ specimen (ex Motorola Laboratories)
2. A beautiful and showy ANGLESITE on matrix from Broken Hill, Australia
3. Fine quality, deep emerald green crystallized BROCHANTITE from the Shattuck Mine in Bisbee, Arizona
4. A classic VANADINITE specimen from the Old Yuma Mine in Arizona that was PICTURED in the MINERALOGICAL RECORD!
5. An attractive and rare gemmy "Star of David" twinned SPINEL crystal from Myanmar (Burma)
6. Rarities include, SUSSEXITE, PARAVAUXITE, ZANAZZIITE, CANAVESITE, and GOLDMANITE
