FINE MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION - FEATURING SPECIMENS FROM THE KAY ROBERTSON COLLECTION - end Thursday October 18th, 2018
Ends Thursday, October 18th, 2018
at 6:45 PM (Central Time Zone)
We have a great selection of material that we picked up over the last few months along with rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals, classics and display specimens. Look for new goodies from Tucson along with new collection acquisitions to appear in the coming weeks. You'll even find a few fossils, carvings / lapidary items and gemstones mixed in every now and then. We'll still have selections from various collections we've obtained including Willard Wulff, Paul Zerfass, Rolando Gioia, Charlie Key and plenty of pieces from Kay Robertson along with various dealers' inventories. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody! Enjoy!
Some of the highlights from this week's auction include:
1. Large GEMMY multi-colored "phantom" FLUORITE group from the Minerva #1 Mine, Illinois
2. A newly mined piece of the now famous "GRAPE AGATE" / "GRAPE CHALCEDONY" from Indonesia
3. Lovely stark blue KYANITE crystals among mint green FUCHSITE from Russia
4. Attractive silvery metallic BOURNONITE "cogwheels" on matrix from Bolivia
5. Tsumeb staples like AZURITE, SMITHSONITE and CALCITE
6. Classic specimen of AZURITE with MALACHITE plus reticulated CERUSSITE from Tiger, Arizona
7. Beautiful skeletal GOLD crystals on QUARTZ from Grass Valley, California
8. Page 2 features assorted worldwide minerals (focusing on European localities) from the Kay Robertson Collection
