For the next few months, we're going to be listing special themed auctions featuring specimens from a specific locality, or a special theme, or from a particular collection, etc. We're going to do a few special auctions per month during the summer! The current theme auction features 40 specimens; 20 of which are from the collection of noted mathematician and mineral collector, Dr. Stephen Smale, and another 20 pieces from the collection of the renowned mineral dealer Charles Locke Key. All of the Smale specimens are culled from his world-famous collection of Chinese minerals, and the Key specimens represent worldwide localities.
