FINE MINERAL COLLECTION and INVENTORY LIQUIDATION AUCTION (set 2 of 2) - FEATUING A PAGE OF GERMAN CLASSICS FROM THE KAY ROBERTSON COLLECTION - end November 2nd, 2017

Ends Thursday, November 2nd, 2017
at 6:45 PM (Central Time Zone)

We're changing things up for the next couple weeks regarding the second mineral auction. We still have our usual mix of rarities, unusual pieces, gem crystals, classics and display specimens, but the second page of the auction will only feature German and other European classics from the Kay Robertson collection. We're putting together this special set to coincide with the Munich Show along with the large 50+ page spread featuring Kay's German classics in the German Mineral Magazine "Mineralien Velt"! Look for well-known classics from historic localities along with rarities and esoteric / oddball pieces from all over this famous mineral-producing nation!

In addition to Kay's classics, you will still find specimens from various collections we've obtained including Willard Wulff, Francesco Bedogné, Paul Zerfass, along with Herb Obodda dealer stock. Look here for the not so typical mineral specimens along with plenty of your favorites. We don't just offer the "standard 20 species", but an eclectic mix of specimens that appeal to everybody!

Some of the highlights from this week's include:
1. A SUPERB and LARGE (5 cm+) specimen of ANDORITE from the San Jose Mine, Bolivia
2. Big electric green, gemmy, sharp lustrous crystals of DIOPTASE on matrix from Kimbedi, Rep. of Congo
3. GEM quality yellow-green TRIPHANE SPODUMENE from the Pala Chief Mine in San Diego County, California
